ROOTED GROUPS
This Connect Group season, we have asked all our Connect Group leaders to lead a series called “Rooted.” This fantastic discipleship series will build stronger foundations and lead to great discussions and spiritual growth.
Being part of a church is not about coming to a church service alone. We gather because the Holy Spirit can move among us and transform us. Likewise, we believe God moves similarly when we meet in Connect Groups.
In a Connect Group, you can build relationships, be discipled, find freedom, escape isolation, and be made whole. At LWF, we believe Connect Groups help us grow spiritually far better than a Sunday service alone.
As we head into this fall, we have a special Connect Group curriculum for our Connect Groups to go through, and we want EVERY person who calls LWF home to go. This means you will need to create margin in your life and sacrifice some things to make it happen, but we believe that time and sacrifice will transform you.
A PLACE TO CONNECT WITH OTHERS
We were not made to do life alone. God created us for community, and Connect Groups provide a place for you to connect with others, share life, and grow in faith together.
A PLACE TO PROTECT EACH OTHER
When we do life together, our problems become smaller as God uses others to bring support and encouragement to our lives. Connect Groups become a place where others don’t just know your name but care about what is happening in your life and want to support you in your spiritual journey.
A PLACE TO GROW TOGETHER
We believe every person is created with God-given potential to make a difference in the world. Connect Groups are a place you can grow with others to become more like Jesus and reach the potential God has put inside you.
Leading a group is simply about feeling a call towards helping others and being one step ahead of someone else! We aren’t looking Bible experts or trained life coaches just those with a call to help people grow by doing life together with them.
Leading a connect group doesn’t have to be hard or scary…..really!
